How do Heat Holders® Thermal Socks Work?

Did you know our thermal socks are proven to keep your feet seven times warmer than cotton alternatives?

It starts with the innovative Japanese yarn we choose. Similar to cashmere, and extremely comfortable to wear, its high-performing acrylic fibers insulate your feet. Plus, any moisture is wicked away to prevent your feet from feeling unpleasant or cold.

The fibers are made into extra-long loops, a proprietary process combined with ground-breaking knit technology. This gives your new Heat Holders socks a TOG rating.

Going the extra mile, we then brush the inside of our men’s thermal socks. This ensures that the warmth produced by your body stays close to you for longer. It also feels extra comforting to wear.

True to name, our heat-holding materials undergo various production techniques to produce men’s thermal socks that preserve warmth like nothing else.

What Sets Heat Holders® Apart from Other Thermal Sock Brands?

We offer a ‘menu’ of three heat levels designed to meet your individual needs on different days.

Heat Holders® ORIGINAL™ socks have our highest TOG rating of 2.3, so are ideal to wear during extra cold days. Thicker than traditional cotton socks, they will keep you or your family’s feet an incredible seven times warmer.

Alternatively, reach for our Heat Holders® LITE™ socks on days when you’re wearing sneakers or boots. These socks offer men a middle ground out of the three TOG ratings at 1.6 tog and are fairly chunky to help you to enjoy cooler days. Expect your feet to be four times warmer than in socks made from cotton.

Looking to wear tighter-fitting boots or shoes? Let our Heat Holders® ULTRA LITE™ socks keep your feet three times warmer than cotton options. The thinnest socks in our range, you can still rely on a warming 1.0 TOG rating.

What are Thermal Socks Good for?

Don’t save your men’s thermal socks for special occasions. Ideal for people living in the northern states, or during bad weather, they will support you whilst you’re outside or simply relaxing on the couch.

How do I Wash my Thermal Socks?

Washing your men’s thermal socks correctly means you will keep enjoying their many benefits for longer.

For best results, we recommend machine washing Heat Holders® thermal socks at 104°F, making sure you have separated colored pairs from darker designs. Forget the cost of dry cleaning too, leave out the bleach, and wash them as you’d wear them (right-side facing outwards).

These high-performing socks will stay true to size when you line-dry them, rather than using the tumble dryer. Ironing should be avoided too.

Are your Men’s Thermal Socks Battery Powered?

Never! Our socks are completely fuss-free and easy to wear.

Rely on the high-performing yarn and innovative manufacturing processes we use to keep you warm, without bulky battery packs or wires.
